JetBlue Airways is adding it’s first-ever flights to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The airline is unveiling five new routes to picturesque summer escapes—four of which are brand-new additions to the JetBlue network. These routes complement the airline’s previously announced new European destinations, Madrid and Edinburgh. With these additions, JetBlue will offer an industry-leading 77 nonstop destinations from Boston, more than any other airline. NEWS FLASHLow cost carrier easyJet is discontinuing its seasonal summer flights between Toulouse and Zadar. The decision comes following the closure of the carrier’s base in the French city. easyJet commenced the service last summer season, maintaining flights twice per week between June and September. As previously reported, easyJet has removed another four routes from Croatia for the coming summer.

Icelandair’s first A321LR, TF-IAA, at a gate at Stockholm Arlanda Airport following its inaugural revenue flight from KEF Icelandair has, other than their domestic/feeder airline, long had an all-Boeing mainline fleet consisting of 737 MAX-8 and MAX-9, 757-200, 757-300, and 767 jetliners. The UK’s House of Commons committee’s GCAP report admits that 2035 is an ambitious target date and, even if progress has been positive, the program needs to avoid mistakes and break the mold set by previous programs.
