French leisure carrier Air Caraibes is currently offering heavily discounted business class tickets to Cayenne, French Guiana and six other Caribbean destinations. The airline takes you non-stop across the Atlantic twice for just €1,432, departing from Paris-Orly. Two checked bags of 23 kg each are included in this fare.
You can reach the following destinations for less than €1,700:
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at €1,432
- Cayenne, French Guiana at €1,455
- Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at €1,464
- Guadeloupe at €1,465
- Martinique at €1,465
- Cancun, Mexico at €1,465
- Saint Martin at €1,626
Our availability calendar forwards you to Skyscanner with your selected flight dates. There you can check what OTAs have to offer or proceed to Air Caraibes’s website, where tickets are roughly €50 more expensive. Flights are available in July and August 2025.
Air Caraibes deploys their Airbus A350-900 fleet on these flights. While their economy class features a terribly narrow 3-4-3 seating, you can find rather comfy lie-flat-seats in a 2-2-2 seating pattern up front. You can find a French review (with many pictures) here.
Most of the flights are non-stop services. Flights to Santo Domingo feature an additional stop on the St.Turk and Caicos Islands of the outbound. Flights to Saint Martin see you fly to Guadeloupe in business class, then take an ATR-72 turboprop to the neighbouring island.
Search & Book
According to the fare rules, these tickets are on sale without a sales period or minimum stay, for travel in July and August 2025.
Google Flights does not preview discounted flight dates. The best way to search these tickets is Air Caraibes’ own preview calendar, which is available on their homepage after entering origin, destination and travel class:
While online travel agencies offer the cheapest tickets on platforms like Skyscanner, we still recommend purchasing premium tickets directly from the airline.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
Miles & Points
Tickets are issued in booking class I, but you can only earn miles in Air Caraibe’s own loyalty program, Prefrence.
