Airports Of New Zealand: How Many Can You Name With Scheduled Flights?

New Zealand, my native homeland, is a popular tourist destination for our captivating mountain ranges, crystal clear water,s and growing number of native and man-made tourist attractions. Across the country, we have six international airports (Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedi,n and Queenstown), with both Hamilton and Dunedin only re-welcoming international services last year, with Jetstarannouncingg non-stop flights to Australia.

There are plenty of other smaller domestic airports dotted around the country that are vital for uto remainng connected to our major cities. Air New Zealand serves 20 airports across the country from Whangarei in the North, to Invercargill in the South (the southernmost controlled airport in the Commonwealth).

How many airports in New Zealand can you name (including the IATA code), and how many have you traveled to? For me, it's easier to list those I've never visited, which include:

- Kaitaia (KAT)
- Whangarei (WRE)
- Bay Of Islands / Kerikeri (KKE)
- Timaru (TIU)
